Governance Structure
The Board meets at least four times a year and delegates authority to four committees; the Audit & Risk Committee, Funding Committee, Nominations Committee and Remuneration Committee to carry out specific functions on behalf of the Board.
Audit & Risk Committee
The Audit & Risk Committee meets at least four times a year. Its purpose is to support the Board overseeing all matters relating to internal and external audit as well as control and risk management.

Funding Committee
The Funding Committee meets at least twice a year. The Committee’s primary purpose is to review borrowing / funding proposals; to comply with and work within the Treasury Management Strategy & Policy; and to provide assurance to the Board on Housing Solutions’ overall borrowing position.

Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee meets at least twice a year. Its primary purpose is to support the Board in the appointment, induction, appraisal and development of its members.

Remuneration Committee
The Remuneration Committee meets at least twice a year. Its primary purpose is to support the Board in the application of the Remuneration Policy with regard to Board members and staff.

Housing Solutions also owns 3 subsidiary companies:
HSG Property Services Limited
The company provides photo voltaic panels on residents’ roofs and other energy saving solutions in order to save utility costs and at the same time produce revenue for Housing Solutions through the ‘Feed In Tariff’ programme.

Housing Solutions Development Limited
The company was set up as an intermediary subsidiary to enter into development projects on behalf of Housing Solutions in order that we can recover VAT on certain development costs.

Housing Solutions Capital Plc
The company acts as a vehicle to help secure funding for Housing Solutions.
