We’re aware that residents in some parts of the country are being targeted by solicitors and ‘no win, no fee’ companies encouraging them to bring housing disrepair claims against their landlord. We have had complaints of these firms using high-pressure tactics to encourage residents to make a claim, sometimes leaving residents with large bills if they decide not to continue with their claim.
These companies are not connected with Housing Solutions and do not represent us.
What to do if you received a disrepair call?
If you feel pressured or threatened with legal action, you can reach out to us, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau or your local authority’s Trading Standards office.
If you have a repair issue, please contact us directly to help resolve it as soon as possible. We’re committed to resolving all repairs within our minimum 21-day response time.

If you’re in doubt, call us to verify their identity - it’s better to be safe, so don’t share personal details or allow entry until you’re sure.
