History of Evenlode

  • In the 1970s, the estate was a four-storey complex that lacked defined or usable external spaces. Recognising the need for improvement, Housing Solutions, in collaboration with Hemingway Design and Hunters Architects, undertook a significant regeneration project. This project aimed to transform the estate into a sustainable and inspiring environment for our residents.
  • The regeneration included creating usable communal gardens, adding private balconies to upper-floor units, defining parking areas, and installing new entrance cores and lifts. Additionally, nine new flats were built on the site of disused garages.
  • This transformation has helped to make the Evenlode Buildings a more liveable and sustainable place for its residents.
